Strokes

The same studies as mentioned in the "Heart Attack" article found a strong correlation between increases in the number of strokes and geomagnetic activities. On days with geomagnetic storms above 40nT (K-index of 4 or higher), the number of hospital admissions due to strokes (cerebral vascular accidents), rose by 130%.
